More than just a game: Mayo volleyball joins forces with Marshall Lions to make donation

On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Mayo Redbirds volleyball team joined forces with the Marshall Lions and made a $250 donation to a fundraiser for Marshall High School sophomore Eddie Gutierrez prior to their match. Gutierrez, a former Mayo student, was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia in December 2023. The donation was made with funds the team raised at the start of the year.
