Josie Armstrong, 12th grade, Shiloh High School

 

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Science and Math.

 

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

Basketball, Volleyball, FCA, NHS, Envirothon, Ecology, Academic Challenge.

 

What is your dream job?

Zoologist or wildlife biologist.

 

What is your favorite snack food?

Grapes.

 

Dream vacation spot?

Rocky Mountain National Park or somewhere on a beach like Bora Bora.

 

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

Tuesdays with Morrie.

 

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

Ms. Boland’s fourth period.

 

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

Mrs. Saddoris has taught me a lot and has always helped me with anything I ask.

 

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

My dad, Scott, my mom, Jessica, and my older brother, Jack.

 

What is your advice to younger students?

Get your work done early so it’s easier later on.

 

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

I have two dogs and one cat.

 

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

To be able to travel and enjoy my work.

 

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Olive Garden.

 

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

George Strait; He’s one of my favorites and he would have some cool stories.

 

What are your goals for 2024?

To have fun and spend time with family and friends.

 

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

Ignorance.

 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Nothing good comes easy.
