The Tipsy Elf: Shamrock Edition

Posted

Get ready to don your green and toast to good fortune—The Tipsy Elf is back, and this time, it’s all about the shamrocks. Following the overwhelming success of its Christmas pop-up, The Tipsy Elf is making a grand return with a St. Patrick’s Day twist. The Shamrock Edition is set to bring Irish cheer, creative cocktails and plenty of festive fun to Paris for two weekends only.

If you loved the over-the-top Christmas décor, you’re in for a treat. Rather than stripping the holiday charm away, the team behind The Tipsy Elf has blended the magic of Christmas with the mischief of St. Patrick’s Day. Think Christmas trees decked out in shamrocks, Santa suits turned into leprechaun attire and a glittering green wonderland that makes for the perfect Instagram backdrop.

“We kept the original feel of The Tipsy Elf but layered in all the St. Patrick’s Day elements,” co-owner Tanner Laughlin said. “Santa’s even dressed as a leprechaun—it’s a fun way to merge the two themes while keeping the spirit alive.”

No celebration is complete without a stellar drink menu, and The Shamrock Edition does not disappoint. Patrons can sip on six specialty cocktails designed to bring out their inner Irish. Among the highlights are:

The Grace O’Malley: A tribute to Ireland’s fiercest pirate queen, this bold cocktail features vodka, apple schnapps, blue curaçao and pineapple juice. Topped with a cherry, it’s pure liquid rebellion in a glass.

Top of the Mornin’: Start the night strong with this Irish-inspired wake-up call, mixing Irish cream, vanilla creamer, bourbon and cold brew. Finished with whipped cream, cocoa dust and a sprinkle-rimmed cookie, it’s the perfect blend of bold and sweet.

The Gold Digger: Who needs to chase rainbows when you can drink your way straight to the pot of gold? This fruity delight combines rum, peach schnapps, orange, pineapple and cranberry juice, topped with a rainbow sour and festive charms.

Alongside these creative cocktails, The Tipsy Elf will be serving up two beloved Irish stouts:

Guinness Draught: The classic, creamy Irish stout that has stood the test of time.

Schlafly Irish-Style Stout: A rich, roasted malt stout with just the right amount of charm.

The Shamrock Edition isn’t just about drinks—it’s about atmosphere. Expect Irish-themed décor, upbeat music and plenty of laughter.

“We wanted to create a space where people can come, have fun, and escape into a festive environment,” Laughlin said. “It’s all about embracing the holiday spirit and making memories.”

For those looking for a family-friendly experience, Sundays will be open to all ages, featuring a special St. Paddy’s-themed mocktail for younger guests.

“We wanted to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy the fun,” Laughlin added.

The Tipsy Elf: Shamrock Edition will be open for two weekends only:

Opening Night: Thursday, March 7

Hours:

Thursday – Saturday: 5 to 10 p.m. (21+ only)

Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m. (all ages welcome)

The pop-up bar is located at 614 N. Main Street in Paris, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for those looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style.

With its immersive décor, creative cocktails and lively atmosphere, The Tipsy Elf: Shamrock Edition promises to be the ultimate St. Paddy’s Day destination. Whether you’re raising a pint of Guinness or diving into a boozy, green-hued concoction, one thing is certain—this is one St. Patrick’s Day party nobody wants to miss.

So rally a crew, dress in the best green attire, and get ready for a night (or two) of Irish-themed revelry.
