Paris Police Department

June 12, at 1:09 p.m., a male juvenile was arrested in the 400 block of Ten Broeck on an Edgar County warrant. The juvenile was transported to the Paris Police Department and later transported to the Edgar County Courthouse.

June 12, at 1:17 p.m., Michael E. Powell, 26, 720 E. Court, Apt. 41, was arrested at his residence on an Edgar County warrant. Powell was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

June 12, at 2:36 p.m., Brock A. Green, 30, Marshall, was stopped at Jasper and Central and charged with disobeying a traffic control device and no valid drivers license. Green was released on a notice to appear in court.

June 12, at 3:04 p.m., Ashley Y. Dye, 24, Oakland, was arrested at 409 West Benton and charged with obstructing identification and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Dye was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond. She was also cited for city ordinance violation-possession of cannabis and given a city court date for that infraction.

June 12, at 4:27 p.m., Terri L. Young, 56, Ridgefarm, was stopped Main and Edgar and charged with expired registration. Young was released on a notice to appear in court.

June 12, at 5:34 p.m., Leanna D. Reedy, 36, 807 E. Blackburn St., was stopped at Madison and Monterey and charged with speeding (47 in a 30 mph zone) and released on a notice to appear in court. Reedy was also issued a city ordinance violation-possession of cannabis paraphernalia and given a city court date for that infraction.

June 12, at 5:34 p.m., Devon M. Kindred, 19, 807 E. Blackburn St., was issued a city ordinance violation 132.5-possession of cannabis. Kindred was released and given a city court date.

June 12, at 5:52 p.m., John R. Mercer, 71, 710 Vance, was stopped at Main and Crawford for expired registration. Mercer was released on a notice to appear in court.

June 12, at 11:52 p.m., Charles Wells Jr., 18, 211 Kimble St., was stopped in the 100 block of North Main and issued a violation for city ordinance 132.02-public profanity. Wells was released and given a city court date.
