May 15, at 4:04 a.m., Thomas D. Martin, 54, 510 Douglas St., was arrested at Madison and Alexander and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Martin was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

May 15, at 5:53 a.m., Stuart Overton, 43, 432 W. Washington, Apt. D, was arrested at his residence and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Overton was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

May 15, at 6:20 a.m., Thomas M. Devers, 42, 331 Union, was arrested at his residence and charged with false request of medical aid. Devers was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

May 15, at 8:52 a.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred at Madison and Central. The first vehicle involved was a 2001 Oldsmobile driven by Courtnie L. Harrison, 27, 1216 N. Main, Apt. 3. The second vehicle was a 2003 Pontiac driven by Harley A. Coad, 20, 306 N. Central. Both drivers were transported to Horizon Health Emergency Room where they were treated for injuries. Harrison was later cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and was released on a notice to appear in court.
