Nov. 9, at 9:17 a.m., Deborah L. Petticrew, 58, 420 Chestnut, was stopped at Jefferson and Adams and charged with speeding (46 in a 30 mph zone). Petticrew was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 9, at 12:04 p.m., Caroline M. Stiff, 34, Kansas, was stopped at Jefferson and Jackson and charged with speeding (47 in a 30 mph zone). Stiff was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 9, at 12:23 p.m., Tami L. Miles, 55, Chrisman, was stopped at Jefferson and Monroe and charged with speeding (48 in a 30 mph zone). Miles was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m., Carolyn S. Stonebraker, 51, 608 N. Main, was arrested at her residence and charged with theft under $500. Stonebraker was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m., William E. Baugh, 54, 608 N. Main, was arrested at his residence and charged with theft under $500. Baugh was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 9, at 5:30 p.m., a vehicle/deer accident occurred at U.S. Highway 150 and Lakewood Drive. The vehicle involved was a 2011 Honda van driven by Liberty A. Reel, 39, no address provided. The vehicle was damaged in the accident. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

Nov. 9, at 6:53 p.m., Vern A. Stone, 51, Evansville, Ind., was arrested at Jasper and Central on an Edgar County warrant and additionally charged with driving while license suspended. Stone was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 10, at 9:06 p.m., Seth B. Edwards, 28, Kansas, was stopped at Michigan and Van Buren and cited for illegal use of electronic handheld device while driving. Edwards was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 10, at 11:19 p.m., Sherry L. Fugerson, 61, 707 N. Austin, was arrested in the 400 block of West Washington Street on an Edgar County warrant and additionally charged with resisting a peace officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal when required. Furgerson was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 11, at 12:17 a.m., Nicholas T. Gullette, 43, Chesapeake, Va., was arrested at Cherry Point and Kimble and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to signal when required. Gullette was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Nov. 11, at 10:09 a.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred at Central and Jasper. The first vehicle involved was a 2011 Chevrolet driven by Carla Y. Johnston, 54, Shelbyville. The second vehicle was a 2005 Chevrolet driven by Crystal N. Dobbs, 28, 1708 S. Central. Brianna N. Johnston, 28, was a passenger in the Johnston vehicle. Timothy S. Delp, 39, and a female juvenile were passengers in the Dobbs vehicle. Johnston was cited at the scene with failure to obey a stop sign and was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 11, at 3:39 p.m., Nathanial R. Giovanini, 24, Joliet, was stopped at Jasper and Austin and charged with improper operation of ATV. Giovanini was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 11, at 4:38 p.m., Melinda R. Galeaz, 56, Bloomington, was stopped at 12736 Ill. Hwy. 133 and charged with speeding (74 in a 55 mph zone). Galeaz was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 11, at 10:26 p.m., Paul D. Hanks, 65, 1225 Hietts Lane, was arrested at Main and Blackburn and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage. Hanks was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 12, at 12:38 a.m., Michael D. Meeks, 42, Ridge Farm, was arrested in the 600 block of East Jasper and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage. Meeks was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 12, at 1:22 a.m., Savannah L. Floyd, 31, 409 E. Edgar, was stopped at Sheriff and Andrew and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Floyd was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 13, at 3:39 a.m., Rebecca A. Vice-Miller, 35, 217 E. Edgar, was stopped at Springfield and Austin and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Vice-Miller was released on a notice to appear in court.
