Priscilla Rose Johnson, 77, of Winigan, Mo., and formerly of Paris, passed away at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, in the Life Care Center, Brookfield, Mo. She was a schoolteacher.
A funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial is in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born Feb. 16, 1940, at Paris, the daughter of the late John Jay and Mary Alice Smith Dorothy. She married William Lawrence Johnson May 14, 1960, in the Paris Presbyterian Church, and he passed away Oct. 20, 2002.
She is survived by her children, Vickie Ann (Forrest) Kirchenbauer of Fremont, Ohio, and William Lawrence (Karen) Johnson of Winigan, Mo., and a informally adopted son Phillip (Merrilee) Willard of Davis, IL and the Davis children and grandchildren; her siblings, John Jay Dorothy of Paris, Lloyd Dorothy of Indianapolis, Ind., Patricia Ruth Poynter of Paris and Naomi Leeman of Georgetown; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Willoughby and Myrta Simmons.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Mo.
