ROCKVILLE, Ind., — Delilah M. Kerrick Adamson, 98, of Greencastle, Ind., and formerly of Rockville, Ind., passed away at 5:10 am EDT Sunday Aug. 2, 2020, in Autumn Glen. She was a homemaker.
A funeral service is 1 p.m. EDT Thursday, Aug. 6, at Gooch Funeral Home, with Pastor Marilyn Culler and Pastor Mark Strahm officiating. Burial follows at Calcutta Cemetery Carbon, Ind. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adamson was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Edgar County, the daughter of the late Ralph Kerrick and Jennie Tucker Kerrick. She married Clark Raymond Adamson Sept. 14, 1949, and he passed away Aug. 24, 1980.
Survivors include four daughters, Susan (Paul) Hocker of Indianapolis, Ind., Lynn (Morris Ray) Smith of Rockville, Jane Adamson of Atlanta, Ga., and Jean (Denny) Lents of Plainfield, Ind.; one sister-in-law, Ethel Watt of Greencastle, Ind.; four grandchildren, T.J., Carrie, Kim and Jenny; three step-grandchildren, Darla, Alan and Kim; five great-grandchildren, Connor, Bethany, Lexi, Skylar and Alivia; several step-grandchildren and their families.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Emil Kerrick.
Mrs. Adamson was a 1940 graduate of Paris High School. She was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church and the church’s ladies aid.
