May 20, at 3:46 p.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred on East Jasper, just west of Bayard. The first vehicle involved was a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Michael A. Kober, 53, Chrisman. The second vehicle was a 2018 Jeep Cherokee driven by Mandy R. Clore, 46, Indianola. Both vehicles were damaged. Kober was cited at the scene for failure to yield at private road and was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 21, at 7:30 p.m., Timothy W. Cottle, 59, 2 Laurel Lane, was issued city ordinance violation 93.76-tall grass. Cottle was given a city court date.

May 21, at 12:22 p.m., Alexandra J. Behiter, 25, no address provided was arrested at Sheriff and Wood for retail theft and disorderly conduct. In addition, Behiter had an outstanding Edgar County failure to appear warrant and a Coles County arrest warrant. She was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

May 21, at 4 p.m., Thomas R. Deevers, 43, 718 Springfield Road, was issued city ordinance violations 301.1.1-outdoor storage of upholstered furniture and 115.11-outdoor accumulation of junk. Devers was given a city court date.

May 21, at 8:20 p.m., Joshua A. Besherse, 29, 309 W. Edgar, was issued city ordinance violation 115.11-outdoor accumulation of junk/trash. Besherse was given a city court date.

May 21, at 8:28 p.m., Maire N. Harley, Paris, was issued city ordinance violation 115.11-outdoor accumulation of junk/trash. Hartley was given a city court date.

May 21, at 8:34 p.m., Timothy J. Hovis, Paris, was issued city ordinance violation 115.11-outdoor accumulation of junk/trash.

May 21, at 8:34 p.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred at 208 Parrish. The first vehicle involved was a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Richard E. Wagner of 208 Parrish and driven by a male juvenile. The second vehicle was a parked 2013 Chevrolet Camaro owned by Brendan M. Wertman, rural Paris. Both vehicles were damaged. The male juvenile was arrested at the Paris Police Department and charged with no valid drivers license, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and improper lane usage. The juvenile was transported to the Vermilion County Juvenile Detention Center pending a court appearance.
