Paris Police Department

May 23, at 11:50 a.m., Sahvanna L. Board, 22, 407 W. Garfield, was issued city ordinance citation–dogs at large. Board was given a city court date.

May 23, at 3:57 p.m., Holly A. Sexton, 31, 712 W. Crawford, was arrested at 15150 U.S. Hwy. 150 and charged with retail theft. Sexton was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

May 23, at 6:51 p.m., Sahvanna L. Board, 22, 407 W. Garfield was issued city ordinance citation-dogs at large. Board was given a city court date.

May 23, at 7:43 p.m., James H. Cash, 77, 404 N. High St., was issued city ordinance citations for accumulation of junk and vegetation height. Cash was given a city court date.

Paris Fire Department

May 17, at 4:05 p.m., the department was dispatched for a two-car accident in front of the Grandview Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District.

May 18, at 2:52 p.m., the department was dispatched to the Edgar County Health Department, 502 Shaw, for an automatic alarm. On scene, it was determined repair work accidentally tripped the alarm and no problem existed.

May 19, at 3:35 p.m., the department was dispatched to 500 West Jasper for an automatic alarm. A power outage tripped the alarm and no problems existed.

May 19, at 3:42 p.m., to the department was dispatched to 1600 South Jefferson for a tree down in power lines. Firefighters remained on scene until AmerenCIPS personnel arrived to fix the problem.

May 20, at 8:06 p.m., the department was dispatched to 301 Campbell for a possible illegal burn. On scene, the fire was extinguished and the resident was ticketed for illegal burn.

May 22, at 4:39 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

May 23, at 3:25 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
