The long runway at the Edgar County Airport, 9-27, was getting resurfaced on Wednesday, May 8. On the job site, workers walked behind a machine that was milling the runway surface, pulling off the top three to four inches and grinding up the material, shooting it into the back of a semi truck that was keeping a slow pace, in front of the milling machine.

The Twilight Walk to honor nurses is lit by luminaries, white bags lit from within by tea-light candles.
