On Saturday, March 7, five bands from Paris schools gathered in the Paris Cooperative High School gym to perform for a packed house.
“This concert is a celebration of the hard work our students have put in throughout the year,” PCHS Director of Bands Kevin Pruiett explained. “It is also a chance for the community to see the progression of our band students as they develop their skills and confidence.”
The bands each performed separately for the overflowing bleachers before coming together to perform Mechanical Monsters as one big superband.
“This concert is such a treat,” Paris Mayo Band Director Christina Farley Wilkie shared. “It is a great opportunity for parents of older students to take a trip down memory lane, and a chance for parents who are just starting this journey to see where their kids are headed!”
