Nyah Williams
Fifteen-year-old Nyah Williams, a sophomore at Paris Cooperative High School (PCHS), claimed the crown as the 2026 Miss Kiwanis Honeybee Festival Queen on Sept 2o.
Williams admittedly was shocked when she was crowned.
“I had no idea,” she said.
“I was really shocked and very surprised, but I also was very excited too.”
Before she could compete in and ultimately win the pageant, Williams needed to prepare.
She credits her sister, Trinity, for helping her get ready for the pageant.
“My sister helped me a bunch. I was reading over my speech a bunch, saying it to myself in my head, and just getting outfits together and planning on how I was going to say things and hand motions and all those types of things,” Williams said.
Williams is not a shy person and is ready to chat with anyone about almost anything.
“Never be afraid to talk to me. I’m very talkative, and I’ll talk to almost anybody,” she said.
The big moment for Williams was winning the crown, but she also enjoyed experiences backstage.
“I really liked talking to the girls backstage, Junior Miss too, and all the outfits. You got to see what they’re wearing and how they plan their sportswear, and I thought it was fun,” she said.
Williams and Junior Miss Honeybee, Kallie Stults, will be working over the next few weeks to determine a cause or organization they
However, Williams wants to use her platform as queen immediately, saying she wants to spread kindness throughout Paris.
“(I want to make) sure everyone’s comfortable around me and making sure that I’m not, like, judging anyone or people don’t feel that I’m judging them,” she said.
Outside of pageantry, Williams enjoys spending time with her friends, participating in 4H and practicing henna tattooing and being creative.

Kallie Stults
Thirteen-year-old Kallie Stults, an eighth grader at Crestwood Elementary School, earned the crown as the 2026 Junior Miss Honeybee Festival Queen on Sept. 20.
Stults said she was shocked when she learned she won the pageant.
“I was shocked. It felt unreal, but I was also very excited,” she said.
Stults didn’t just wake up and become the junior miss; she spent time preparing for all aspects of the pageant.
“I went shopping for my outfits. I picked them out with my dad. I memorized all my stuff and just how I was going to do everything,” she said.
Stults said she’s talkative, and always makes sure she’s kind.
“I’m very kind to everyone,” she said.
While she was ecstatic to win the crown, Stults said some of her favorite moments of the night happened backstage.
“I loved picking out gowns, getting all dressed up and pretty and definitely meeting my new Miss,” she said.
Stults and Miss Honeybee, Nyah Williams, will be working over the next few weeks to determine a cause or organization they would like to support.
While the two discuss which cause or organization, Stults is ready to get started serving the community.
“I just want to share the story about the Honeybee Festival – it’s a very nice festival,” she said.
She added that she wants to continue to show kindness to the community.
Outside of pageantry, Stults is an athlete in cheer, gymnastics, tennis and volleyball.
She also enjoys being creative through crafts, nail art, baking and building Legos.
