Bruce Henry Zeigler, 93, of Paris, passed away at 12:46 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind. He was a former truck driver for Zimmerly Ready Mix in Paris.
Private burial is in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Zeigler was born April 8, 1927, in Brocton, the son of the late Clarence and Margaret Hood Zeigler.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth (Mary) Zeigler and Gary (Debbie) Zeigler, both of Paris; a granddaughter, Penni (Hank) Budd of Meridian, Miss.; a grandson, Dustin (Roseanna) Zeigler of Terre Haute, Ind.; three great-granddaughters; and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Inez Sterling, Mabel Tyler, Ivan Zeigler and Owen Zeigler.
Mr. Zeigler was in the Merchant Marine, joining when he was a teenager. He attended Community Bible Church, was a former scout master for the Royal Rangers and enjoyed taking part in spot shoots. He loved woodworking and fishing.
Memorial donations may be made to the Edgar County Humane Association.
