Zachary Lorenzen

Zachary Wade Lorenzen, 26, of rural Chrisman, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at his residence.  

 

A funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial is in Hoult Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.  

 

Mr. Lorenzen was born March 13, 1993, at Terre Haute, Ind., the son of John Spencer Lorenzen and the late Carmen Rae Westerfield Lorenzen.  

 

He is survived by his father, John Lorenzen of Chrisman; his sister, Alyx (Tyler) Owen of El Paso, Texas; his maternal grandparents, Ken and Becky Westerfield of Paris; aunts and uncles, Steve (Vicki) Lorenzen of Chrisman, Nancy (William) Sanders of Grand Isle, La., Jeannie (Brad) Taylor of Oakland, Cynthia (Hans) Andreasen of Terre Haute, Ind., and Mike (Tonya) Westerfield of Paris; a dear friend Randy Snyder of Metcalf; and several cousins.  

 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Leila Lorenzen.

 

Mr. Lorenzen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a member of National Honor Society, Chrisman High School Student Council and served on a Youth Advisory Board for the Chrisman Community. No matter what was going on in his life, he always put family first.
