What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?

Bryan Woolum, 8th Grade, Crestwood School.

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Science, it helps me understand how the world works.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

NJHS (National Junior Honors Society) gives me a way to give back to the community.

Band,  it makes me feel creative.

Chorus/drama, it keeps me busy.

Student council lets me help out with school projects.

Yearbook,  Let me get a say in what the yearbook looks like.

What is your dream job?

Marine biologist-I would get to spend my time with wildlife.

What is your favorite snack food?

Rice Cakes. They are yummy and crunch while being healthy. 

Dream vacation spot?

The Bahamas     

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

Pocahontas tells us that there are other people in the world, and we can’t just take their things. It also promotes women empowerment.

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

Hanging out with friends and going to play practice.

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

Mrs. Heath is always funny, and she can put a smile on my face.

What is your advice to younger students?

Take your time as a kid, and don’t let your childhood fly by too fast.

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

I have three siblings, and none of them live with us. They all live with their mom   or are in college.

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

 We have four dogs and four cats, we also have a bird and a guinea pig.

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

 Making enough money to support me and my friends/family would be great.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Fogo de Chao’s steak is amazing.

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

Leonardo Da Vinci-we could talk about his mind blowing art pieces.

What are your goals for 2024?

To stop caring about things that don’t drastically change my life in a negative way is a goal of mine.

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

Self-absorption-Everybody could use some love and attention in this world.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

To not let other people bring you down is some good advice I have received.
