Oct. 20, at 11:07 a.m., Lindsey E. Board, 34, 703 Douglas, was stopped at Alexander and Jasper and charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Board was released on a notice to appear in court.

Oct. 20, at 1:27 p.m., Jamesray A. Evans, 28, Paris, was arrested at 309 West Crawford on two Edgar County warrants and additionally charged with resisting a peace officer and possession hypodermic syringes. Evans was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Oct. 20, at 4:19 p.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred at Ten Broeck and Elizabeth Street. The first vehicle involved was a 2018 Honda driven by Delia R. Townsend, 20, Danville, and owned by Heather Moriarty. The second vehicle was a 2015 Lincoln driven by Renae D. Powers, 51, rural Paris. Both vehicles sustained damages. Townsend was cited for failure to yield-stop sign and driving while license suspended and was released on a notice to appear in court.

Oct. 21, at 10:57 a.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred at Main and Jasper. The vehicle involved was a 2017 Volvo driven by Ali A. Mohammad Hussain, 53, Texas, and owned by Power Freight, Incorporated. City of Paris property was damaged. Hussain was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and was released on a notice to appear in court.
