The Paris Improvement Organization (PIO) announced today that it will host the third Annual Paris Community Clean-Up on May 8 and 9. The event invites community members to volunteer their time to help beautify Paris, while also giving residents the opportunity to request assistance with exterior improvement projects at their homes or throughout the community.
The clean-up effort is open to all residents and volunteers. The Paris Improvement Organization is prepared to accommodate a wide range of small exterior projects, including landscaping, exterior painting and general clean-up work. Residents who are unsure whether their request qualifies are encouraged to submit it anyway; PIO staff will follow up directly to discuss the project.
“We’re excited to bring our community together for the third year in a row,” said a Paris Improvement Organization spokesperson. “Whether you want to pick up a trash bag or help a neighbor with a yard project, there’s a role for everyone. This event is about showing pride in our community.”
Community members wishing to volunteer can sign up by calling 217-264-4183 or scanning the volunteer QR code on official PIO event materials.
Residents who would like to request exterior improvement assistance or suggest a community project can do so by calling 217-264-4183 or scanning the work request QR code on official PIO materials.
